You are planning to stay in this country for the 2-year programme, and your studies will be taught in English. The local language is not spoken outside of this country, and you have never really decided to pursue it beyond a survival level: “Good morning”, “thank you”, “how much is it?”. However, you never made a comprehensive list of the pros and cons of knowing and learning the language.
